The exhibition explores the boundaries and transitions between humans and animals. The photographic works approach the animal not as an object, but as an independent counterpart — a being in its own state of existence. At the center lies the question of what it means to be “animal”: as body, as instinct, as presence in the world. The images move between closeness and distance, observation and encounter, control and unpredictability. ANIMAL STATE understands the animal not as the opposite of the human, but as its mirror and extension. The exhibition opens a space in which perception becomes fragile and categories of nature, behavior, and identity begin to blur.
